About

So you never lose work you've already earned.

That's the whole job. We answer every call, take the details properly, and make sure your customer hears back — so the work that came in doesn't quietly go somewhere else.

Why we're doing this

The industry's answer has always been to sell you more strangers.

Usually the same ones it sold to three other firms. And then to charge you for the privilege of seeing them.

We think that's backwards. Most of the money a trade loses isn't work they never found — it's work that rang once while they were on a job, or a form filled in that nobody got back to. And most of the time they lose goes the same way: ringing people back to find out what the job even is, and thinking about work that was never going to happen.

Trades built their businesses on being good at the work and being reachable. The platforms turned being reachable into something you rent. We're on the other side of that: the work you earn should be yours to win or lose on merit, not on who answered first or who paid to be seen.

The people

Who's behind it

The team behind Tradeworthy has been building call answering and enquiry capture for UK trade businesses since 2025 — paving and landscaping, construction, electrical. We've watched a lot of work go missing, which is why the company exists.

Chief Operating Officer

Dan brings extensive operations experience from running digital teams at leading marketing agencies, delivering for some of the world's biggest technology brands. He went on to co-found and grow a digital marketing business, running the systems that kept it efficient and compliant, before exiting recently. He now makes sure everything at Tradeworthy runs like clockwork.

Where we're up to

We're early, and we'd rather say so.

We're not a big company. Right now that's the point: when something isn't working, you're talking to the people who can change it — and it changes that week, not next quarter.

What we're doing at the moment. Working closely with a small number of trade businesses. Sitting with the calls. Reading what was said, and what the customer did next. Fixing the bits that don't land.

And asking a lot of questions. We run regional and trade-level research into how enquiries get handled, and where the work goes when it goes missing. There isn't a good UK number for any of this — everyone in the industry quotes American surveys, or quotes each other. The firms losing the most are the ones nobody has ever asked.

What we've decided not to do. We won't price your work. We won't take your money. We won't sell your enquiry to three other firms and then charge you to see it. Those aren't things we haven't got round to yet. They're the reason the company exists, and there are easier businesses to build without them.

Where we're trying to get to

Every trade business with a team running on Tradeworthy — and none of them thinking about it. That's the whole ambition. You get on with the work, and the phone stops being something you worry about.

If something here is wrong, or there's a thing that would make a real difference to your week, tell us. Right now that's worth more to us than a sale.
